With training now behind us, it’s time to start entering data into the new Social Solutions ETO software. So far, three of the consortium colleges are reporting, with data for roughly 200 individuals entered. In the meantime, grants and Social Solutions staff are working to get the portal and workflow add-ons implemented and get the exit surveys up and running. In the last month, we’ve learned a great deal from getting the system launched, and as a result changed how the credential status worked to better reflect how the schools operate.
For now, we’ll continue to serve as a resource as schools begin entering their data and preparing for our report to the grant leads meeting later this month. Here are a few of the FAQ’s we’ve received since the software launch: Q: How do I dismiss a student from Level 1 – Applicants after they have been accepted and enrolled into the grant program? A: When you refer a student from Level 1 – Applicants to Level 2 – Participants, the last step is the “Confirmation” screen. On that screen, if you check the box marked “Dismiss,” it will dismiss the student from Level 1 – Applicants at the same time they are referred to Level 2 – Participants. Q: Can I add data elements to my intake TouchPoint? A: Yes! The intake TouchPoints and demographic forms can be customized for each college. If you would like to request changes to these TouchPoints, please email will.stevens@mccatoday.org. Q: How can I see a list of all of the students I have enrolled? A: You can use the Query Wizard to return a list of every student that has been enrolled in any level on your site. The Query Wizard is found under the “Wizards” tab on the navigation bar and requires Internet Explorer. |
